ramblinggg. I'm going to free...type for Parvati just to see what happens. You know, keep writing until I can't anymore. Maybe about her parents first though. They got together because of an arranged marriage. Childhood friends, but it was always just expected for them to accept whomever they were paired with at a young age, and that's just how it was in their community. They both grew up in India, speak Hindi, celebrated Hindu holidays and practice that..culture/religion/whatever, I need to read up on all of that I guess, which should be interesting. Anyway, they waited a little while before having kids, and their first try they ended up wit the twins. Parvati's father was active in the minstry in India, international affairs maybe, which was why he choose to move the family out of India and into the UK. Still need to pick WHERE exactly Parvati lives, because London isn't cutting it for me anymore. They learned English by using translation spells, although both of the Patil parentals are a sort of notthatgreat at speaking English. Parvati and Padma were homeschooled before Hogwarts and took fencing and etiquette lessons because their parents had full intentions of matching both of the daughters by arranged marriage. Probably to a pureblood, but not because they're all crazy about their bloodline, but because purebloods are probably the only ones that would go for that anymore. It could be taken another way though, depending on how well someone knows Parvati's parents. He still works at the ministry, and her mother is a stay at home mom. Parvati gets along a lot better with her mother than her father, but wouldn't deny being a daddy's girl every once and a while. They aren't as spoiled as they used to be, but Parvati's dependency on her parents is starting to backfire, considering they want to pull her out of school. She feels like there isn't much she can do if they decide that in reguards of actually getting back into the school, but she WOULD run away if that were the case. I think Parvati's parents would let the twins stay for their 7th year though, but probably only after they explained the DA to their parents. The parents need names, although I think I still like Rasha and Ajit. Anyway, in my head, Parvati's parents would let her go back but her mother would worry and her father would CONSTANTLY be sending owls and the like, checking up on the school through the ministry when he could.
Ajit and Rasha get along, always have, but their love was one of those 'he/she grew on me' type dealios. It was expected, and they both knew they could have been paired up far worse. Especially because with the war, purebloods were getting desperate to rush along the family lines. They're both traditional, and believe in the Hindi gods (something I HAVE read about, once upon a time) with their prayers and the like. They'd probably want Parvati and Padma to follow the same faith, but I see Parvati just kind of doing hte bare minimum in that department, something her parents are kind of cross about at times. Rasha taught the twins how to do basic housework charms once they were allowed to do magic out of school, something the twins both put up with if not just to humor her. Parvati loves fencing htough, and wishes she took her piano lessons more seriously when she took them back before Hogwarts. Now they don't really have time for it, except over the summer. The Patils are fairly wealthy but aren't about to brag about it. They don't brag about much of anything because they are considered 'bloody traitors' by most of the purebloods. Of course, the Malfoys and the Parkinsons were the first families to introduce themselves to the Patils once they were in the UK, but with time the Patil parents learned they were NOT for the same causes. They don't disreguard them, but just avoid conversation with the Malfoys/Parkinsons/any other DE related families as much as possible. I imagine Ajit MIGHT know Mr. Weasley, but nothing more than in passing. Another pureblooded family that shares their values, is all, though Ajit doesn't like how much attention the Weasley's have been getting lately. I can see Parvati's mother getting stuck talking to Narcissa everyonce and a while, and they're both just as snarky as Parvati and Pansy are.
I see Ajit as a Ravenclaw, and Rasha a mix between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. Which seems odd, but I think she's smart on the things that she needs to know to get through life without getting her or her family into trouble, but would probably jump in front of a hex to save her husband or daughters. Ajit would much rather talk than duel, no doubt, and is a little obsessive with paperwork and the like. He likes order and logic and schedules, looking things up, and knowing all the facts. It drives Rasha crazy sometimes, but then again, it is nice to find everything when you need it, because it's always in the same place.
not done yet. tbc, if you will!

OKKAAAYY, Dizzy's been overactive in my head lately, so it's about time I ramble about her, I think. So I finally managed to convince some poor unexpecting new RPer to say that yes, his character had sex with Dizzy, haha. Aiden Lynch, who ends up playing Pro Quidditch too, so that's pretty funny. She also suddenly wants to be a part of the Dueling Club, but I think that's mostly because she's not taking DADA, so it's like a replacement of sorts. Exploding Snappers isn't her favorite club but she's in it because Meaghan is, and then there's Choir which I can't WAIT for, I'm thinking her singing voice doesn't sound toooo much different than her regular voice. Either way, she's super enthusiastic about all of her clubs. She makes schedules but never writes down her homework or anything. She'll literally color-code charts with schedules for all of her classes, Quidditch, meals, and her clubs, but in the like "STUDY TIME" parts, it doesn't say WHAT she's supposed to be studying.
OH YEAH. And the outfit thing. She loves clothes and shoes but ONLY comfy things, and while she loves making outfits, they almost never actually match, they just match in comfort or general style, and that pleases Dizzy. It probably drives Archie crazy. XD
Hnn.. While Dizzy knows she's good at Quidditch, I don't think she'll ever really come to terms with just how good she is. I'm thinking it's a matter of her always thinking of the whole time, as well as the players of the other team. She's somehow learned how to pay attention to all of it (except the Seekers, haha) while focusing on the Quaffle and the plays they're running. Even if Hufflepuff doesn't have the best record, she still always gives 110% on the pitch, and gets fiercely competitive right before and during a match. Then after it all kind of washes off and she's back to normal Dizzy. By now her dad's probably talked about scouts coming to the matches from the pro leagues, so she might even be a bit like "I NEED SOME ALONE TIME BEFORE THE MATCH OKAY? SORRY" just to get the jitters out of her system. I'm going to say she's only had two brooms ever as well.. Maybe one that she got for ht 10th birthday (double digits!), and then one she got in..4th year, once she made the team for the second year, and her father knew she'd be playing for a long time. He pretty much supports her Quidditch career the most, since none of her brothers got into it. Although! I think Anthony got an offer from the Wanderers but turned it down to Travel the World.
HAAAA. In regards to Prefectdom, which I really need to think about more, the only thing I can see her being OMG over is language. Yeah, she's so THAT Prefect that will let people get away with mostly anything, unless they try to lie, she hates that, but if they curse or something then you're going to get yelled at. Even if that just provokes her friends. She'll probably still have trouble cursing a lot when she gets older too, haaaa.
In regards to people, she's in COMPLETE denial that Lizzie hates her, she might sense it because she's not completely oblivious, but she'll always find an excuse as to why Lizzie would be mean to her. Apparently she doesn't get along with Caroline either, haha.
I think she might have a crush on Octavius but she doesn't know it/want to ever think about it.
HMM, okie list time.

People She's Dated, haha Dawson, 5th year, for a month or two. First OMG REAL BOYFRIEND and first kiss. No idea why they broke up! XD Aiden, end of 5th year, again for maybe two months. First smex, broke up because she was like LAWL the whole time. Lucas, beginning of 6th year, three weeks TOPS because they really had nothing in common, but they smexed a couple times. She's still pretty bitter about it. Well, as "bitter" as she can be. And KIRLEY, middle of the end of 6th year, still dating, still hasn't sexed, waiting until "HE'S READY". They probably snog a lot though.
